Dad's birthday bash!

My father turned an unmentionable age. Actually, it's just seventy and frankly, he's the best looking, most active, and muscular seventy-year old I have ever met. In fact, I can only wish to have a pair of legs like that when I turn seventy.

So here we are celebrating at my parent's house. My mom wins the "Most Sneaky" award by 1. Enlarging 7 of his most amazing photographs (he is quite the photographer and there are uber-albums to show for it) and hanging them up just before the party (I sneaked back in to help her while dad and I were shoveling snow - actually we were breaking up a really thick sheet of ice on the road), and 2. inviting a barber-shop group to come and sing during the festivities (led by my father's golf partner, Ron, and as it turns out, fellow course whiskey drinker).

So here are some photos and a video from the evening, enjoy!

Everyone is greatly enjoying the singing! Mom and Dad, you have to click on the little ">" to see the video!

Yeah!

Mom pensively enjoying the show - and perhaps calculating how long ago it was that she listened to these songs?

These two are having a good time!

Enjoying the singing!

Posers!

My parents think I'm taking a picture, little do they know I'm actually taking a video. And there is Chris saying something hilarious in his Italian accent which he used all night long and which my mom was convinced was him trying to sound like Borat! Now that is funny.

Paolo, what are you doing, why are you cutting it like THAAAAT! haha.

The morning after, my father was busy at work piecing back together his favorite shoes. Yes, that's right. The sole was in a million pieces, but he had the determination necessary for such a feat.

And of course, he had an audience.

Alex sulking after he realized that he locked his keys in his car on Christmas Eve. HAHAHA.
