So we moved in, then right away went to stay somewhere else to dog sit for a week, then I went to Chicago for work... So we reunited at last at our apartment for what felt like our first night here!. We woke up to find a light-drenched living room, unfortunately I'm not set up yet to use my good camera and these photo do not do it justice. No reason not to post anyway!
So here are we, slowly putting the place together, with lots of ideas still rumbling about.
This room was YELLOW when I took this picture. Oh well.
Here is the island in action as it was intended to be used. And there is the computer with the NY Times real estate section up, hey, we want to know how good our investment is - pretty much on daily basis.
We now have a little foyer table for keys and mail, and change. Yes!
We have so many shelves, that some are even in their original packaging. I guess you CAN have too many shelves.
The dining area is getting no love yet, we'll get there sweets! Don't you worry.
